I’ve been quite busy lately with work, travel and it being summer time in New England. I’ll have new projects uploaded soon!
The other day I saw a nice looking workbench for sale on Craigslist. Seeing as I didn’t yet have a proper woodworking bench, I scooped it up. It turned out to be an older model of a Lervad workbench, made in Denmark and distributed by Leichtung sometime during the 1970’s. Leichtung was a mail-order catalogue company that is no longer in business. The bench is made of beautiful Danish beech which really came to life after some clean-up and a boiled linseed oil rub-down. The bench was also mentioned in Chris Shwarz’s blog. Although it isn’t a huge bench, it will work well in my small workshop. I’ll soon be putting this bench to work in future projects.
